What are those rollerblades?

Rollerblades are different from any other types of skating devices by their wheels. These have tow up to fore wheels placed on a single line for maximum of speed, but they also require more equilibrium from the skater.

A rollerblade consists out of fore major parts, and without one of these the rollerblade would just not be rolling.

First up is the boot. This is basically a shoe to which the wheels are attached to. This has a special design and it has to be very light because the other parts might be heavy enough for the skater. Also it must have a goods anatomical shape for the foot to stay well in place inside the boot. The top part is a little bit higher, just like in a regular booth. Thus it prevents foot injury at the lower ligaments in case of fall. The boot also has an element of design. Different colors, different prints are making them mach with the personality of the skater.

The other major important part in a rollerblade is the frame. This is a plastic or metal (polyurethane, aluminum, carbon fiber) frame that keeps the wheels attached to the booth. Generally the more resistant the frame, the more expensive the rollerblade is because boots and frames are not replaceable but wheels are making a pair of such skates to last you for years. These frames can weigh from 160 grams up to 230 grams, depending on the material that these are made from. Usually those made for children are much lighter than adult rollerblades. The third component of a rollerblade is bearings. These alow the wheel to spin smooth;ly a you skate. For one wheel producer use two bearings.

And finally the things that make a rollerblade be a rollerblade is the wheels. These come in different colors to math the boots but also in different sizes to match the skater’s way of skating. First up and the smallest wheels are used for an aggressive skating and they measure between 44 and 59 millimeters in thinness.

The artistically skating wells have a size of 68–72 mm, for speeding skating the thinness of the wheels has to be 83-109mm just below the recreational skating that uses wheels with a thinness of 72–90 mm.

There is also a fifth element that is equally important and helps to prevent accidents on the skater or on other people that skater passes by. These are the brakes. They help the skater stop from a maximum speed, but they don’t always guaranty a stop by the book. This only depends on the skater’s abilities. These skates are mostly used for fun and sports but also skate competition that is very much loved by the audience.
